Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-06-11
These terms govern your use of ICS2 Import Data Readiness Checker (https://ics2.shipcostlab.com, "the Site"), operated by José Manuel Volante González (see the legal notice for full provider identification).
Nature of the service
The Site is a free informational tool. There is no account registration, no subscription, and no payment required to use it. All calculations run in your browser; the inputs you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Decision support, not professional advice
The Site maps shipment inputs to ICS2 Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) data requirements under Reg (EU) 952/2013 (UCC) and Implementing Reg (EU) 2015/2447 (UCC-IA). Outputs — including missing data elements, pre-arrival deadlines, penalty exposure categories, and readiness scores — are decision support based on a versioned dataset. They do not constitute customs, legal, or tax advice and do not replace the authoritative UCC-IA Annex B published by DG TAXUD or the advice of a licensed customs representative. Always verify against the official ENS Filing Guide before making professional filing decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site to violate any law or third-party rights;
- attempt to disrupt the Site or circumvent its security controls;
- scrape, reproduce, or resell the Site's dataset or outputs in a manner that misrepresents their provenance.
No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any
kind. Regulations, deadlines, and national penalty regimes change; the
dataset carries a last verified date and may lag the law in force. We do
not warrant that outputs are complete, current, or fit for a particular
shipment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on the Site's outputs — including customs penalties, shipment delays, or filing rejections. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish or EU law.
Intellectual property
The Site's code, design, and editorial content belong to the provider. The underlying EU regulations are public-domain legal texts.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are subject to the courts of the user's domicile where mandatory consumer rules so provide, and otherwise to the courts of Huelva, Spain.
